What is Mindset Coaching?
Mindset Coaching gives you the opportunity to start asking yourself the right questions and opens your eyes to a different way of observing and interfacing with the world. By attaining small personal goals, via a holistic approach, it allows for you to see the world and yourself in a completely different light.
Why is it important to men specifically?
Having a mindset coach is extremely important to men for a few very select reasons. Culturally, in the modern world, men are pushed towards two extremes. As a man you are either a “toxic” overly-masculine brute or a total doormat that is stepped on every day. Not only are these extremes very unhealthy to the individual; they are destructive to their environment. Finding balance, by embracing small changes on a daily basis in the way you view the world, allows men to develop and embrace life through a balanced and healthy mindset.
Who is Aidan Berry
Aidan Berry is a young man with an unorthodox path and story. From travelling Europe singing Opera, touring with popular singer Josh Groban, teaching Firearm instruction to civilians and law enforcement, and fighting in several martial arts Aidan has been given the opportunity to see the world from many different perspectives. Because of these chances to be challenged, fail, and learn Aidan has been able to craft a roadmap of how to transform oneself into the desired result.
The PEMS Philosophy
Physical
- Maintaining a functional and healthy body that allows you to move through the world with confidence
- Engage physically to work through emotions that are difficult to express such as anger or resentment
- Release positive hormones into the body that encourage positive thinking and healthy sex drive
Emotional
- Learning emotional intelligence by building empathy for others and yourself
- Learning to express emotions more frequently in order to avoid the cliche male “atom bomb of anger”
- Realizing that the stigma around men expressing emotions is functionally outdated and inefficient
- Building tools to deal with emotion and not allow it to dictate your daily life
Mental
- Build mental plasticity and rewire your brain to see things differently
- Focus on taking difficult challenges in work, exercise, and life to build up mental toughness and discipline
- Intentionally engage in situations that safely provide you a chance to think around an issue completely rather than through it
Spiritual
- Discover what faith, religion, philosophy, or set of beliefs can help give you a moral and ethical backbone in the world
- Learn from others and accept ideology as a practice of empathy towards other people
- Build practice in your daily life to learn what gives you the most forward momentum

During my freshman year of college, I was a pretty heavy guy, without much motivation to change.
